A couple of days ago myself and my boyfriend Frankie went away for our one year anniversary. We decided to go to Warwickshire because we really wanted to see the castle and Warwickshire itself looked like a lovely place to visit. We stayed in a hotel for 2 nights and it took me around 2 hours and 45 minutes to drive there. We stayed in a hotel on the outskirts of Warwickshire called Evesham, and it was honestly such a cosy, big, Hogwartsy castle.
If you have never been before then you definitely need to do because it is such a stunning castle. When we went it was raining on and off which was annoying, but we weren’t that bothered by it because it was mostly inside. Inside each of the rooms in the castle, there was Christmas trees everywhere which made me so happy and in the hall of the castle there was a massive Christmas tree that I wanted to squeeze into my car and take home for next Christmas. I understand that some of the pictures in this post you wont understand what they are, but I just want you to enjoy the pictures lol.

This was inside the hotel, we also had cream tea with mulled wine (I didn’t like mulled wine that much)

The castle is so so so stunning! such a beautiful castle, but it was definitely haunted for sure. If I visit new places, I always see if that place has a haunted feel about it, I dont know why I just do. Does anyone else do this?
Inside the castle and around the castle there was so much to do. There was a time turner room, where you could see how and when the castle was made and by who etc.. which was interesting to learn about.
In the library, every single book was real. This completely surprised me, it was so amazing.
There was a maze which was really cool and fun. Throughout the maze there were stamps that you could collect and then claim your prize at the end. It was really good that it was informative when going throughout the maze, it was about history.
At this point, we were climbing the castle and eventually ended up on top of the castle..
This is Frankie and myself on top of the castle, such a great experience yet very frightening to be up so high.
Have you been to Warwick castle before?
Are you all caught up with my other posts?-
